Founded in 1955 by community volunteers in the village of Cetronia, the organization has grown into a nationally respected EMS provider, known for clinical excellence, innovation, and strong community partnerships. Today, Cetronia operates from its purpose-built 68,000 sq. ft. Joint Operations Center, designed to meet the highest standards in lifesaving logistics and operational performance.
At the helm of Cetronia’s continued growth and impact is Robert Mateff, Sr., Chief Executive Officer. With a strong background in executive leadership, Bob previously served as Chief Operating Officer, where he directed the senior management team and helped shape the organization’s strategic direction. He played a key role in setting long-term goals, developing internal policies aligned with Cetronia’s mission and values, and analyzing business conditions to drive effective decision-making. His leadership has supported the organization’s expansion through partnerships, innovation, and operational excellence.
As CEO, Bob continues to guide Cetronia's vision to be the leader in EMS, transportation, and community health resources, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of service and care throughout the region.
